Despite receiving mixed talk, Devara collected an impressive ₹150+ crore on its opening day. The star power of NTR played a significant role in driving these massive numbers, helping the film perform exceptionally well at the box office.
However, while the first half was engaging, the director struggled to maintain the same energy in the second half, leading to some disappointment among viewers. Nonetheless, NTR’s strong fan base ensured a remarkable start for the film.
On its Day 1, Devara had an impressive box office performance across various territories. In the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana regions, the movie grossed a massive ₹88.5 crore, while Karnataka contributed ₹10.15 crore. Tamil Nadu and Kerala added ₹2.15 crore and ₹0.6 crore, respectively, with the rest of India bringing in ₹10.8 crore. This took the total India gross to ₹92.5 crore.
