Raayan’s TV TRP Fails to Impress

Raayan, starring Dhanush, Sundeep Kishan, Aparna Balamurali, and Dushara Vijayan, has become one of Dhanush’s biggest hits, collecting 160 crores globally. The film’s impressive box office performance shows its appeal to a wide audience.

However, despite its success in theaters, Raayan didn’t attract as much interest on TV in the Telugu states. The movie’s TRP ratings were lower than expected, indicating a lukewarm response from Telugu television viewers.

Rayyan Movie: A TRP Disaster

The world television premiere of Raayan on Gemini TV received a 1.87 TRP rating in urban areas. In the combined urban and rural (U+R) markets, it scored a 1.75 TRP rating.

Though the film didn’t perform as expected in TRP ratings, it still gathered a fair amount of viewers. This mixed response shows that while some audiences tuned in, the film didn’t fully capture everyone’s attention.
