Vettaiyan Movie Day 1 Collections
Lyca Productions’ Vettaiyan has kicked off its box office journey with a strong opening day collection of approximately ₹36.5 crore in India. The film performed exceptionally well in Tamil Nadu, contributing ₹20 crore to the total.
Karnataka also showed solid support with ₹6.4 crore, followed by AP/Nizam with ₹4.75 crore. In Kerala, the film collected ₹4.1 crore, while the rest of India accounted for ₹1.25 crore. With this impressive start, Vettaiyan is off to a promising run at the domestic box office.

Vettaiyan Movie Written and directed by T. J. Gnanavel, Vettaiyan is produced by Subaskaran Allirajah under Lyca Productions. The film stars Rajinikanth as Athiyan, a senior police officer who accidentally shoots an innocent person during an encounter while investigating a murder.
The movie also features Amitabh Bachchan, making his Tamil debut, along with Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, and Manju Warrier. Ritika Singh, Dushara Vijayan, Rohini, Rao Ramesh, Abhirami, and Ramesh Thilak round out the impressive cast.
